SnowSafe Neighbors Program

SnowSafe Neighbors Program: Snow Removal Assistance

SnowSafe Neighbors is a program facilitated by the City of Happy Valley to assist local seniors and those with physical challenges by partnering with volunteers from Boys Team CharityΒ to assist eligible recipients in keeping their walkways clear of snow that are unable to shovel their walkways following a snowstorm.

Join us for an adventurous day on Mt Hood! Be led on a guided snowshoe on the Crosstown Trail, enjoy lunch at Timberline Lodge, and explore its hidden history on a private ranger-led interpretive tour.

This in-person Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Training combines lecture with hands-on skills sessions. Students will learn how to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims. The skills you’ll learn during this class can make all the difference to someone in need.
