SnowSafe Neighbors Program
SnowSafe Neighbors Program: Snow Removal Assistance
SnowSafe Neighbors is a program facilitated by the City of Happy Valley to assist local seniors and those with physical challenges by partnering with volunteers from Boys Team Charity to assist eligible recipients in keeping their walkways clear of snow that are unable to shovel their walkways following a snowstorm.

Field Trip Friday – Guided Snowshoe & Timberline Lodge Tour
February 21st, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Join us for an adventurous day on Mt Hood! Be led on a guided snowshoe on the Crosstown Trail, enjoy lunch at Timberline Lodge, and explore its hidden history on a private ranger-led interpretive tour.
Field Trip Friday – Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum Tour
March 21st, 10:00am – 4:30pm
Soar through decades of aerospace innovation on this trip that includes exclusive private guided tours of both the Aviation and Space exhibits, where you’ll discover incredible aircraft and spacecraft, including the iconic “Spruce Goose.”
Field Trip Friday – Tulips & Tasting
April 11th, 9:30am – 3:30pm
Experience the beauty of millions of blooming tulips at this annual celebration of Spring at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn. Enjoy a serene garden stroll and capture stunning photos in the colorful tulip fields! Then treat yourself to a wine tasting of local wines amidst beautiful surroundings at St Josef’s Winery.
Field Trip Friday – Tom McCall Trail Wildflower hike
April 25th, 8:00am – 3:30pm
The Tom McCall Point Trail offers exceptional views of the Columbia Gorge as well as Mount Adams and Mount Hood. When the spring wildflowers are in bloom, an overlook near the top of the high bluffs offers one of the most stunning vistas in the Gorge! Wildflowers like lupine, paint brush, fox glove, wild rose, and arrow root create a wonderful photo op.
Field Trip Friday – SIX The Musical
May 2nd, 5:00pm – 9:30pm
From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the six wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a euphoric celebration of 21st-century girl power. This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over! Enjoy dinner before the show at one of the many gourmet vendors at Pine Street Market.
Field Trip Friday – Salmon River Trail Hike
May 9th, 9:00am – 3:30pm
Join us in hiking a 5 mile section of the beautiful Salmon River Trail outside Welches. This stunning trail rambles along the pristine Salmon River through lush old growth forest in the Huckleberry-Salmon Wilderness on Mt Hood. Pack a picnic or save your appetite for lunch at Barlow Trail Roadhouse after our hike.

First AID/CPR/AED Training
Friday, April 4th
9:30am-2:30pm
This in-person Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Training combines lecture with hands-on skills sessions. Students will learn how to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims. The skills you’ll learn during this class can make all the difference to someone in need.
Babysitter Training
Monday, April 14th
9:30am-4:00pm
This in-person babysitter class gives you access to child care information, tips, and can answer all your questions so that you’re ready to start babysitting! With lecture and engaging class activates, these courses are informative and fun.
Astronomy II: Stars and Galaxies
March 17th – May 5th
Mondays
7pm – 8pm
Come gain a better understanding of the basic facts of astronomy, and walk away with a greater awareness of the Earth and how it fits within the solar system and universe! This is an adult course intended for those with no previous knowledge within a friendly, informal atmosphere.

Tippi Toes Dance Classes

Explore our dance class options for girls and boys age 18 months – 10 years. Students are encouraged and celebrated while being taught the fundamentals of dance! Choose from the following spring programs below:
