We’re making great progress on the ADA Transition Plan as crews continue to assess intersections throughout the City. As a reminder, ADA Transition Plans help cities like ours identify, prioritize, and fund needed improvements. You likely have seen crew members taking measurements and photos, marking pavement, and checking things like curb height and ramps as they look for any physical barriers that might make traversing these spots a challenge. All of this data collection will help finalize a plan of action should anything need to be updated or changed.
These efforts are absolutely essential for creating a more accessible and inclusive city, where everyone can safely and comfortably access the various facilities and services of Happy Valley, regardless of their mode of mobility.
