Today, October 17, at City Hall, we were privileged to take part in a special military pinning ceremony in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. This event was dedicated to recognizing the brave men and women who served during this pivotal time in our nation’s history. Each veteran who served on active duty, regardless of location, received the Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin as a symbol of our nation’s gratitude for their service and sacrifice. We are deeply thankful for their courage and commitment to protecting our freedom.
The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration is a national initiative established to honor and thank Vietnam veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice.
