Summer Concerts in the Valley

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF SUMMER CONCERTS IN THE VALLEY!

Amid stage lights, amps, and laughter echoing from the nearby splash pad, the community gets a front row seat to some of the best musical acts in town as Concerts in the Valley enters its 25th season this year.

Concerts are festival style seating, so bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy this free, 6-week concert series with neighbors and friends. The stage is located by the Gazebo with the splash pad and play area nearby.  Food and beverage, including beer and wine are available for purchase onsite.

As a bonus, kids can check out the Happy Zone, a fun-filled activity space that offers crafts, games and action-packed excitement. Coordinated by the Happy Valley Parks and Recreation team, this space will provide rotating activities throughout the series, so there is always something for the kids to do while you rock out to the summer tunes.

Supporting local youth

This year, we’re teaming up for the first time with two local youth groups. Participating athletes from Clackamas Youth Football will help support Summer Concerts by way of set up and refuse pick up at each of the six performances. This partnership not only helps ensure Summer Concerts run smoothly, but it provides the students an opportunity to work with City staff as they gain valuable skills and mentorship. In exchange, the City will donate fundraising dollars to the league to help offset costs related to their upcoming season. Additionally, participants of Clackamas United Soccer Club will be at the concerts to help with soda can collection at each of the designated recycling receptacles. These students have been granted permission to utilize the deposit earnings to help defray Club costs. The City is excited to partner with Clackamas Youth Football and Clackamas United Soccer Club as we together, work to make a positive impact in the community and keep fundraising dollars right here, in Happy Valley.
